Nielsen’s Law of Internet Bandwidth: high-end users +50% per year

Nielsen’s Law of Internet bandwidth states that a high-end user’s connection speed grows by 50% per year.

It’s an interesting empirical analysis, even if I don’t think it has a direct consequence for designers and developers it’s something useful as an high-level estimation.
